Are Your Goals Fear-Based?

Reflecting on your current mindset, how many of your professional goals are fear-based? Are you playing the game not to lose and survive (fear) or are you playing the game to win/win (love)?

If you are having a fear-based mindset you are likely to use terms, such as:

  • I have problems/issues to fix
  • I need/must/have to make a decision
  • I need to work harder to succeed

Fear is lack-oriented as well as narrow-minded and moves us away from something. Concerns can ultimately lead to setting the wrong goals.

If you are applying a win-win-based mindset, you are likely to use expressions, such as:

  • I 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 the 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆/𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆/𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 to 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞
  • I have the option to make a decision
  • ɪ ᴀᴍ ᴍᴀᴋɪɴɢ ᴘʀᴏɢʀᴇss ᴇᴠᴇʀʏ ᴅᴀʏ

Love is solution-focused and moves us to fulfillment, gratitude for the present moment, and abundance. To create a strong self-image it is essential to understand which expressions you use to frame your reality.
